{Lenni, look what the postie delivered! One copy of the La Trobe Journal, No. 95, March 2015. *all squeal excitedly*}
{Underneath Soane's 'star-fish' ceiling, the library at No. 12 proved anything but quiet.}
{Near-blind Perce approves too. (Our collage, Underneath Soane's 'star-fish' ceiling, the library at No. 12 proved anything but quiet, on the cover of The La Trobe Journal, No. 95, March 2015.)}
As those who follow our updates on instagram and the like will know, this March we are delighted to see our animals collaged on the covers of two different and complimentary publications.
On the cover of the La Trobe Journal's artists' book in Australia issue (No. 95, March 2015), guest edited by Des Cowley, Robert Heather and Anna Welch, you can see a perplexed Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua galerita) in our collage, Underneath Soane's 'star-fish' ceiling, the library at No. 12 proved anything but quiet (2015). And ambling across the cover of Imprint's Collaboration issue (Autumn 2015, Volume 50, Number 1), you can see a rather nonchalant Giant anteater (Myrmecophaga tridactyla) in our collage, In the small courtyard, overlooked (2015).
Both collages were created especially with their landing (on the covers) in mind, and now, created in an exercise in merriment, you can also see these animals 'moving' in a collage of moving parts, here, on instagram. 150 collages in fifteen seconds and all with the hope of more to come.
For those of you with keen eyes and/or a fondness for aardvarks and company, you may recognise several inhabitants from our most recent zine, Thither & Hither.
{Hither and thither. Our animals are on the move. (Including, for keen eyes, two collages currently on the cover of the La Trobe Journal and Imprint magazine.)}
