{Is this it? and How about this?, two collages from this zine.}
Maria likes little details and Swedish is her mother tongue. Maria has tagged me and would like to know seven random things about me. (Thanks, Maria, this was fun to pull together and it lifted me out of my ho-hum state.)
1. I have been to the races and I have sipped champagne in the sun, and now, like a bear with a sore head, I am grizzly and with throbbing head.
2. I now have a salmon-pink décolage that looks unbecoming and is causing me bother (it is hot and my, how it prickles). I have been slathering on the Aloe vera to lessen the heat and it seems to be working, slowly.
3. There are always areas you miss. Arms, hands and the back of my neck, legs too, all fine, but my décolage and nose they are rose-red, still. A red blush that refuses to fade back to white, a red flush like the colour you turn when you see someone you like.
4. Scarves worn about the neck serve as a temporary disguise for sunburn. Yesterday I wore one I had not previously worn. I wore a scarf covered in bright coloured birds, a silk scarf that has for most of this year hung on wardrobe door calling out for an occasion most suitable.
5. At the races our picnic blanket was surrounded by youth in a mix of beach wear and cocktail attire, obscuring our view of the those majestic race horses and their jockeys in bright colours.
6. What I lost, I made back. A win on Runs to Rule cancels out a loss on Escape Artist ensuring that all is kept in balance.
7. Next year, should I head to the track, I shall seek shelter under a tree and sport a wide-brimmed hat.
And, one more thing just for the fun of it…
A Cigar is an anagram for my name.

I am tagging Use Oil, Hairs, Fuddle Sirs, And Ear, Naval Eyed Shy, Art Bi and Sisal, should you wish to play along. If not, that’s more than okay, too. Some of you, I suspect, may already have revealed seven things whilst for others it may not be your thing, I am happy whatever you choose.
{Or this? and Yes, that's it, two collages from this zine.}
+ I am so very happy reading and sharing your excitement.
