Migration: Non-migrant
Distribution:
Widely spread throughout lowland New Guinea and the adjacent islands, extending to northern Cape York Penisula in Australia
Habitat:
Lower levels, margins of tropical rainforest; scrubs on watercourses; adjacent eucalypt woodland.
