Better suited to the nimble-footed...

Dear you,
 
You know, I think we make the perfect pair. We may have a different outlook on the small things but we see eye-to-eye on the large stuff. On the issue of suitable manners when we enter society we will never agree, nor on the garden, either. There, we are the much spoken of chalk and cheese pairing so commonly seen.
 
Hankering for a vine swing, while my beloved lusts after a red rose arbour, this love pairing is a tricky balance and better suited to the nimble-footed,

To be prepared at all times, that is my personal code strictly applied. I’ve heard it is also the code of a group of cubs and scouts, I think they called themselves, but as I’ve yet to met either a cub or a scout I can not vouch for this as being true. Daily, I check upon my tiny green sea craft, ensuring she is sea worthy. I darn her red sails as I would a pair of winter socks and have below deck sufficient quantities of jam should any emergency present itself at my door one dark and stormy night.
 
Becoming increasingly fanatical with this constant tending and holding this fixed state readiness, I should not be surprised if one day I let it all slip off like a blanket in the night.
