Dear you,
In Lebanon, a sperm whale of truly gigantic proportions has taken up lodgings. It is so very large that the village that once nestled by water’s edge is now completely flattened. There is talk of wedging a giant manmade shoehorn-type structure under its lower right side in order to let the locals beneath a little more air and light but little has come of this plan. Like many plans, it remains an idea not put into action or to the test. Talk. Hot air. Waffle. Nothing done and nothing doing. Perhaps soon the whale will move on. We hope.
Yours, an onlooker peering at the world and its turnings,
