Dear you,
Sometime late yesterday afternoon, we think, possibly when the postie came to the door with a delivery, little Percy snuck out undetected. Presumed still asleep on the couch, buried underneath a rug, it was not until several hours later that we realised Percy was in fact not there. Vanished! Like a magic act. The little escape artist! The old man, Perce, had recently had a bath and after such things, always fancies a long doze on the couch, wrapped up snug and warm. It is rare for him to surface, lest the fridge door makes its familiar squeak; the prospect of food always rouses him from the deepest of slumbers.
He is without his collar (owing to having recently had a bath), but he is microchipped.

12 YEAR OLD JRX
(WHITE WITH BROWN MARKINGS & GREY MUZZLE)
Percy is a rescue dog recently adopted, and a very friendly boy,
with large cataracts in both eyes and a rounded tummy.
We’ve had him for 18 months and adore him utterly.
Please contact us if you have seen him.
We’ve papered the local area with various Lost! posters and are hoping for a good outcome and a swift reunion.
(Thank-you for all your tweets, retweets, comments, messages, phone calls, texts, and emails. It means so very much. XO)
