Yes, you are right, the close of the day is the best time for zine assembly. When all is quiet, and in good company, it is nice to sit with legs folded and collate loose pages. One evening to scalpel star shapes from black pages (four per zine), creating a handsome pile of off-cuts, and another to collate all eighteen pages in logical order, from dusking sky to dark night. Soon it will be complete. The hand-glued spines of all 60 zines are drying in a tower and the finished zine, Tumble & Fall, will be available in our store sometime this week.
{Cut to A6 in size, now it is time to decide upon an order.}
{From late afternoon through to twilight, nightfall follows. Time to reorder. Everybody shuffle.}
{Standing in the street outside. Is that a full moon? Almost.}
{A cover to edition with black pen.}
{Off-cuts from black pages accumulated during a two hour spell.}
