In the well-trodden vein of At the Château de la Malmaison tigers roam, and because I am not feeling in loquacious mood (the week has been a long one and I think I’ll let the images upon the page tell their own story), I have a recent artists’ book of mine to share with you. This Sunday eve let me take you to the Loire Valley, to Tours. Between Orléans and the Atlantic coast, and the birthplace of Honoré de Balzac, Tours is also the temporary home of a platypus, an Egyptian mouse with theatrical leanings, an oribi, a dingo, a red kangaroo and many others. Come along, they are all friendly, I think.
