{The gulls sighted upon entrance and the mischievous mice making the most of the environment, it seems all are welcome at the zoo.}
It would seem I cannot visit the zoo enough for twice this past fortnight I have been with friends to gaze in awe at the graceful caracals with their long tufted ears, the pride of lions in repose, and the Goodfellow’s tree-kangaroos with their golden and furred limbs. It is fortunate, for this reason, that I am a Friend of the Zoo, and can visit my troop of gorillas and monkeys, my company of parrots and my sleuth of bears "once more, once again, still once more", any day I choose.
("Once more, once again, still once more" is a line plucked from the Song of the Volga Boatmen.)
