Today, I bring you a digital detail of But at Dusk it Glitters, a four-colour lithographic offset print by Gracia and me for Rona's forthcoming Beautiful Soup folio.
You may recognise this piece from the recent series, Whose Lights Were Now Seen Glittering made for Hidden Gems & Rough Diamonds for Milly Sleeping earlier in the year. In this work, you can see Nina Youchkevitch in her ballet costume for Les Cent Baisers (The Hundred Kisses) gazing into a lake of rare and giant stars.

Before I sign off, I will leave you with this photograph of Nina Youchkevitch (front) with Dr Ewan Murray Will (centre), a dermatologist and amateur filmmaker, friend, patron and all round fan of the Ballets Russes dancers (who visited Australia between 1936 and 1940), Irina Bondireva (left) and Vanda Grossen (right). The year is 1936 or '37. The photographer is unknown. Image source: National Library of Australia.
