(Kea (Nestor notabilis), a mountain parrot from the Southern Island of New Zealand who features in my artists' book, A meeting of parrots that shouldn't, 2011–2012.)
Dear friends and Elsewhere readers,
Gracia, a Kea, and I invite you to head to the wilds of Morwell to see our show. There is a train to the gallery door, or thereabouts, and it is good to get out of Melbourne sometimes.
We're afraid we can't make it along to the actual opening festivities on the Friday night (24th February), but you are more than welcome to pop along and see the show then or indeed any other time whilst it is on. The show closes on the 1st of April and the gallery is open seven days a week, should a day trip call out to you. Stock up on snakes and chocolate milks and hit the road in search of culture.
Should you make it along, do let us know what you think.
