For my part of Thereza, Lesley and Abi's brilliant Happy Journey Collective, I have feathered my coffin and brought an owl along with me for good company. Gracia (One more voyage and then I am done) and I were invited to participate long ago and have just now made amends. Here is my piece, With the help of a black-capped screech owl's feathers.

In some African cultures, owls were believed to be the harbingers of death. It was thought if one was to see an owl, or hear its hoot or screech, that someone was going to die.
You can submit one too, with owls or otherwise.
