The Branta ruficollis is known as the most brightly coloured member of the Branta group of dark geese. It breeds in north-western Siberia, where it nests close to raptors, possibly for protection from foxes.
On a side note: never forget YouTube has as much dodgy content as good and when one types in Red-breasted goose in the search field. One risks being shocked. (The latin name helps, just.)
A second side note, from over the other side: I am very much looking forward to tonight's performance. (You can search the Nederlands Dans Theater YouTube stream without fear of being shocked. Instead you'll be amazed and wonderstruck.)
