The Anas formosa is a distinctive duck which breeds in cold, open forest in Siberia on the edge of the tundra, and migrates to South-East Asia in the winter.
I think the Tundra sounds like the most magical and distant of places. The stuff of fairytales and ancient creatures. But perhaps that’s just because I live so very far from it.
