Today is a day to celebrate, I think, for today I finished reading War and Peace. Well, when I say finished, I mean I have finished my first reading of it. I think that to understand Tolstoy one must revisit him often. I do not for a second believe I understood all he had to say, but I loved it nevertheless. Perhaps, of all the novels in the world, this is an ambitious one to reread often, perhaps I will reread Anna Karenin instead. However, that will have to wait for another day. For now I plan to read some more Agatha Christie, and I am tossing up between The Labours of Hercules and The Clocks. Which should I choose, do you think?
