The hand-binding component of Dear Dad is now complete, and the last two hundred copies recently delivered to the Australian Poetry Centre.
The Melbourne Launch of Dear Dad is tomorrow at the Wheeler Centre (176 Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne) at 11am. There is to be a Sydney launch too on Saturday September 4th at the Rex Centre (58A Macleay Street, Potts Point) at 10am.
I’m ever so pleased with the final book. If you would like a copy, skip along to one of the launches, or let me know. Happy to point you in the right direction.
Here are the four collages Gracia and I created especially for the book which feature throughout.

Mickey proved no Oily Bird but clever mouse and the scene it played as expected, at ten minutes to two.
Dashiell Hammett's Thin Man leads us neatly to the Grotto of Lacroma (where Richard the Lionheart found refuge).
Day and night, night and day, Robinson Crusoe proved an unfailing guide.
The gramophone crackled, the little pig swept, and the road it was lined with aloes.
