Here are some photos of two tables I have recently set up and sat behind. The first is from Page Parlour and the second today at the Mornington Peninsula Library for a bookbinding workshop I conducted.

I think you can tell a great deal about me from how I have arranged things on these tables. What do you think?

We are dreaming of the sea

A quartet to show you now completed, here are the other two zines completed last week and debuted at Page Parlour this weekend past. People responded to them really well and it brought me and G much joy. It's good to know our zines are being enjoyed and it makes us want to make more to share. Thank you.

Orders made through our online store over the weekend have also been wrapped and posted. You should receive them very soon.

I am now suffering post-multiple-deadline fatigue, but nothing a peppermint tea and a night off will not fix. There are two sweet bites for Abla's Patisserie left (Thanks Jurate) that will also fit the bill this rainy Monday eve.

All four new zines — menagerie, sea dreaming, foxes, pairs — are available on our online store and will also be available at Page Parlour as part of the Emerging Writers' Festival this coming Sunday.

On a chilly Wednesday evening, I have a sneak peak at four new zines by Gracia and me to share. From this shot of my working board, you can see a corner, a sheet, a fold and a cover of each of the four. Tomorrow I’ll be able to show you photos of all in finished state.

In the meantime, you may like to hop over to Gracia’s post to see proofs of her forthcoming new print. It will be 30 X 30 cm; full colour lithographic offset on Aquarelle arches hot press 300gsm. It’s really beautiful and I can’t wait to see the finished edition late this week.

A lot can happen in a couple of days

The days and nights are filled with projects of late. From an upcoming piece for blanket magazine to four new zines to helping G with a new print for Of Birds and Fishes to journals that need to be bound for orders. Each and every moment is busy and exciting, and I like it best like this.

It seems one can’t stop once one starts drawing bears again. Maybe I'll draw these two next?

Because it has been too long

I have not drawn a Polar bear in far too long a time. Of late I have been concentrating on birds and then suddenly had the urge to draw a beautifully striking bear which appeared in the newspaper and was cut out for me by Gracia.
