Rosé wine

The seven new zines I mentioned last week are up on Gracia and my site and our web store. It has taken more than a few hours of tinkering with html but we made it in the end. Last week and the weekend past, I spent most of my waking hours on the computer, wrestling with design commitments and my own work. I did allow myself a few rewards, two of which included some joyous time spent with dear friends. Over a coffee and cake shared on one occasion, and a sweet strawberry-based rosé wine on another, much giggling ensued as the merriment flowed.

 

Hope you all have a brilliant week. I will be spending most of mine again on the computer but again with the same plan of a catch up or two with those I love.

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone for their lovely birthday cheers left on the previous post and that filtered in by email throughout the day, and Gracia especially for her annual pinching of my blog in order to make grand announcement. It means a great deal to me to receive such kind messages. Thirty-four feels like it is going to be a good year, a good age.

 

Secondly, I’d like to share a few photos of Gracia and me at the Sticky's Festival of the Photocopier zine fair. It took place in the Degraves Street underpass and all was grand. It was a steamy and festive five hours and we sold many of our older zines as well as seven new titles made especially for the fair.

Gracia and I hope to photograph them and get them up on our webstore early this week.

 

I shall leave you now with some eye drawings, which appear in my new folded drawing zine, as I have to rest my ankle. I took a tumble on our roof this afternoon whilst attempting to squirt silicon into a difficult to reach section of tin roof. I think I was being overly confident with my very limited plumbling/roofing skills.

Three pairs of feet and a thank-you

It appears a stampede of birds have made there way into this post. I think they are here to help me say thank-you for all your orders of my Owl print. Thank-you, Thank-you.

Ready for new homes

All twenty-five editions of Owl are ready for new homes. So if you are keen to adopt one then fly this way.

Gracia and I thought it would be a nice way to celebrate the beginning of 2010 and this print with a giveaway. The rules are very simple, the first two people to purchase an Owl print will also find in their posted parcels a recent print of ours. The third, fourth and fifth people to purchase Owl will receive a random zine from our collection.
