Egyptian artifacts

I’m drawn to drawing all things Egyptian of late. Perhaps that’s due to my partiality to turquoise or my admiration of the formal qualities of these artifacts. Or perhaps my imagination is consumed with the romance and adventure of an archeological dig at the turn of the century.  Perhaps it’s all of these things and many more.
