Maria and Esti have both tagged me of late and I was determined to take up their challenge even though I'm notoriously slack with such things.
The rules of the tag are...
1. respond and rework: answer the questions on your blog, replace one question that you dislike with a question of your own invention, add one more question of your own.
2. tag eight other un-tagged people.
Here goes...
What is your current obsession?
Drawing Egyptian Artefacts.
What are you wearing now?
A pair of well-worn pyjamas.
Do you nap a lot?
No, I don’t think so, but I do struggle to stay awake in the late afternoon sometimes.
If you were a tree, what tree would you be?
A River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh). I’m not sure that I share characteristics with this beautiful species, but I would like to be one if I were a tree.
What´s for dinner?
Rice with homemade pumpkin chutney.
What was the last thing you bought?
Some grapes, watermelon and four ripe fuji apples.
What are you listening to right now?
The sound of my budgies nibbling on some dried gum leaves.
What is your favorite weather?
Most autumn days, especially ones like today, plenty of bright sun in the day and cooler in the evening.
What is on your bedside table?
An alarm clock, two 2B pencils and several books begging to be read.
What is a favourite animal to visit at the zoo or sight in the wild?
Otters!
Say something to the person who tagged you.
Hello Maria. Hello Esti. I love both your blogs and I am flattered that you thought to tag me. I always feel like I’m traveling when I stop by to enjoy your photos and words.
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where do you want it to be?
Anywhere in Europe like this.
Favourite vacation spot?
Anywhere.
A book you are currently reading?
Tolstoy's Anna Karenin. (Gracia and I are in a race to see who finishes first.)
What is your favourite tea flavour?
I’m not all that much of a tea drinker. I will add milk and sugar to most blends (terrible, I know).
What would you like to get rid of?
All those things that need to be filed, but are no longer a part of your life… for example, old tax receipts.
If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
MOMA, New York.
What motorcycle would you like to ride?
A 1970 Triumph T120 R Bonneville Motorcycle.
I’m not sure if it’s breaking the rules but I’d like to leave my invitation open. Play along my dear friends, I'd love to read your responses.
