Mushrooms sprout underfoot, (IV)
I have created four new watercolour drawings for my investigation into a colony of fungi for G's A skulk of foxes and a husk of hares blog and I have loved every minute of it. Drawing forms from nature once more was a challenge, as was the bright colour palette evident in the mushrooms I selected to draw.
The four I selected were from publisher's proofs of the publications of L.Prang & Co., and scrapbooks of coloured advertising cards. They look harmless enough so I'm hoping they're not poisonous. On second thought, you'd better not touch them.
