Ushering in a cool breeze.
It’s been a joy to join in on this joy+ride with my collaborator, and inspiration, the ever-talented Gracia. Our dear friend Shari and her dear friend Sheri invited us to work on issue nine and to share a taste of our summer this January. Thank-you Shari and Sheri for inviting us.

For those of you not in the southern hemisphere, and I think that’s the majority of my blogging friends and readers, the idea of summer being in January may be unfathomable as you shuffle about in the snow, consider umbrellas, stir soup and enjoy observing ice frozen to forest branches. But summertime it is and the windows are flung open and there are strawberries for breakfast. Since I cannot redirect the sunlight, I can share it with you as drawing.
Shari and Sheri suggested that Gracia and I simultaneously release a zine of our contribution, and we thought that was a lovely idea. So, we have gone ahead and made a new zine and it’s titled Summertime: And the livin’ is easy, just as Ella & Louis sang. To see more images from the zine you can hop over here, and here on our store. The zines are $5 (AUD) each, which is approximately $3.30 USD. The first ten orders received will also receive a secret little something extra.
