They’re footloose and fancy free
Our twenty-one timber animals, with personalities and markings courtesy of Gracia’s pen drawings, are now a part of the world. They’ve made their way from the studio floor to “Secrets of the Photocopier” at Platform, Flinders Street Station, via the park.
Here’s a few photos of them scurrying around.
Tomorrow (or the next day) I’ll post some photos of them in their cabinet at Platform, along with a few more of my recent iceberg paintings.
So until then, adieu.

Really looking forward to seeing your work at platform. I can't make it to the opening, but I will get down there to see your beautiful work.

Dearest Shari, Casey, Jane, Risa, Lisa, Elaine, and Sally, I'm so glad you all liked our run of animals. I’m thrilled with how Gracia’s drawings came up on the timber. My personal favourite is the bear. I love the way she drew his fur as tiny swirls consisting of little dots. Mind you, the rats, beaver, platypus, squirrels, bats, turtle, pumas, aardvark and badgers are also delightfully drawn. xo lj
