All good things are worth waiting for.
Although Shari, Gracia and I had the best intentions of having our collaborative zine completed by now, we didn’t quite manage to meet our self-imposed deadline. But wait… I can smell something cooking in the zine oven now. Surely, it can't be. Where are those oven mitts?
I’ll open the oven door and check what’s inside. Oh! What a pleasant surprise… I can see four, yes four, beautiful collages by Gracia and on the next shelf I can see some spectacular photos and maps by Shari, and right up the back there are a few of my watercolours too.
So pull up a chair folks and enjoy these little samples from our food/kitchen inspired zine this Saturday.
Hopefully the three of us can keep up this momentum in the kitchen and in no time at all we will be able to show you a printed, folded, stapled and wrapped edition of our zine.
Medium: watercolour and pencil on Cotman 300gsm cold pressed paper
Dimensions: 15 X 10cm

Ah, lj. Those sweet & sticky sweets... too delicious they look by far. As the clock nears midnight, I am craving a little nibble of one of those delectable morsels. A little sweet, and perhaps, a little coffee too. Best not though... a recent filling from the dentist tells me otherwise (Be quiet, my sweet tooth! Do be quiet now.)... g
Can't wait, L & S, for our zine to become an actual paper zine. The first of many, I suspect.
