Our Etsy Shop is open!

Gracia and I (well, mainly Gracia, truth be told) have been busy opening our little etsy shop. We thought it would compliment our online store and maybe make shopping a little easier for our friends in the United States. So champagne all round folks! Drop on in and check out all the brand new goodies.

I'll even let you all in on two little preview items to go on our online store (as I'm worried it will get jealous of its glamourous etsy cousin... do online stores have feelings?). They are these gorgeous hand knitted scarves by Thelma's. I have one of my own which I love. It is knitted in several shades of blue with fine white stripes. The blues represent the ocean and the white stripes represent the ice sheets, then on-top of this splendour, there are over six felt polar bears running, sitting and standing. The felt polars are based on my drawings and they even have little French knots in blue thread for their eyes. It really, really rocks!

Many exciting things have happened this week, mostly in the form of snail mail. Here are a few photos of the glorious goodies from all our friends.

This stash of paper ephemera, artwork and inspiration was from Frips. Thank-you Frips, we love it and hope to make something exciting with some of the bits and pieces, maybe I'll even get organised enough to post you back something soonish.

These fantastic cards were from Briana, who I know I've already said thank-you to, but really can a person ever say thank-you enough?

And these two weren't addressed to me but rather to Gracia, however I thought they were too awesome not to draw for everyone.

Also, if you have time in your blogging schedule, feel free to skip across to sew green to check out my mini book review of Every Last Drop. I'm only half way through reading it, but I thought when I finish I'd love to give it away on my blog. I'll keep you posted.

Oh and also... thank-you Julie for nominating me for a thinking blogger award. Now I get to nominate five people in return, how hard is that?! There are so many beautiful and intelligent blogs out there. As Gracia was nominated as well we were able to share a few of our all time favourites. If I've missed anyone out, and I know I have, then it's only because I had to stick to a list of five.

Wendy - Girl in Green
Risa - Muerto de Risa
Frips - fripsmailart
Mav - port 2 port
Paula - Simple Me

So congrats my five lovely blog friends, your posts constantly inspire and delight me.
