Because everyone seems in need of an as yet elusive time machine at the moment, I thought I'd go on the hunt for a real one... and the closest thing I've been able to find so far is this Suzuki GSX1300R.
Apparently with the aid of a turbocharger it can reach speeds in excess of 400km/h (250mph). I think this is soooo incredibly fast that under the right conditions you could ride into a time space continuum and end up at the start of your week. Try it and see.
But to tell you the truth even though it has time machine potential written all over it, I find it an odd looking bike. I much prefer this beauty. The 2007 Suzuki RM-Z450 Ricky Carmicheal Replica. I'm pretty sure it will still fly like the wind.
If all this motorbike talk is too much then how about a bit of footy to distract you? Gracia, Elaine and I have just finished our long awaited footy zine, Footy Essentials. It's a set of footy inspired collectable cards. You can find out a little more about it here. And if you want to jump right in and buy one you can check it out here.

Oh yes, that second bike will do nicely as a time machine... and in zippy yellow too. Take me to Cairo in the 1920's for the afternoon.
see you, g

Your new zine looks great! Where do you guys find the time?!

Hi Shari, Looking forward to your compound word zine. I'm sure it will be a best seller! The bike is a bit ufo like.
Hi Lisa, I read one review of this bike and it declared that it wasn't an appropriate bike for first time riders. I would have thought that was obvious though. Maybe we could all get a slightly less powerful and maybe even smaller time machine than this one.
Thanks Lou and Sam, ace news that you like the zine.
Hi Gracia, Excellent time travel destination. I've been sitting here trying to think of something to top that... but I just can't. Do you think both of us arriving on a 2006 model motocross time-machine would raise some suspicious eyebrows in 1920's Cairo? We'd have to park it somewhere discreet aka Doctor Who.
Cheers, LJ

Hi Louise,
I'm starting to catch up on my comments...and here they are your wonderful bikes. As you know I'm a fan of your bikes, not because I'm much into these sort of vehicles but because I find it very fascinating that you are painting them in watercolour, an art medium which somehow I wouldn't associate with bikes.
They are great!
:)
